Geleira Academy of Magic is the Canadian Wizarding School located in Nunavat, Canada. It accepts students from Canada, Greenland, Iceland, and the United States, although majority of the American students are from Alaska or other northern states.
Location and Arrival[]
Geleira is located deep in some Canadian mountains. It is protected by a thick layer of fog, and once all the students are in the castle, a gigantic mountain of ice surrounds the castle, so to Muggles, Geleira appears to be a mountain of ice surrounded by fog. The Headmaster or Headmistress of Geleira is called 'Santa.' On Christmas, students write a wishlist of things they want, and Santa transfigures objects to be a gift that the student wants, or a gift that the Santa deems suitable for the student. Geleira is known for its excellent Charms curriculum. Students here play Quidditch on gigantic icicles instead of brooms. Students arrive by train, whereas students out of Canada have to apparate to a Canadian train station with their parents to catch the train.

There are six main towers in the castle; four are in the middle, whereas the remaining two are in front. The towers in the middle each hold a dormitory, whereas the remaining two towers are the Quidditch Pitch and Mess Hall. Below the towers are the classrooms and facilities.
Houses[]
Students are sorted into Houses based on their book preferences.
Rudolph's House[]
Students in Rudolph's House are those who prefer Classics.
Vixen's House[]
Students in Vixen's House are often those who prefer any genre of books, or those who don't read.
Cupid's House[]
Students in Cupid's House prefer romance novels or young adult books.
Comet's House[]
Comet's House students read only the best, award-winning books.
Uniform[]
As they study in a castle made of ice, students wear ice-blue robes lined with fur. The robes themselves are charmed to keep the wearer warm.
